Join us for an engaging 90-minute writing workshop dedicated to mother fugures. Whether you are a mom, have a mom, lost a mom or play a mom - writing a true personal story can be a great gift to yourself or someone you love in honor of Mother‘s Day. The workshop will be led by club member Sarah Squire-Doyle (www.myminimemoirs.com). Sarah facilities mini-memoir workshops, writing groups and just directed a sold-out promotion of Love Notes at the clubhouse. Participants will craft a mini-memoir through short writing exercises and prompts with time for sharing at the end. No experience necessary.

WCW‘s Book Club - Be Ready When the Luck Happens by Ina Garten
Garten presents an intimate, entertaining, and inspiring account of her remarkable journey. Ina’s gift is to make everything look easy, yet all her accomplishments have been the result of hard work, audacious choices, and exquisite attention to detail. In her unmistakable voice (no one tells a story like Ina), she brings her past and her process to life in a high-spirited and no-holds-barred memoir that chronicles decades of personal challenges, adventures (and misadventures) and unexpected career twists, all delivered with her signature combination of playfulness and purpose.
This is the meeting of invited community nonprofits to come together for learning and collaboration. Registration is recommended.
